Glue Collaboration announced today that it has received ISO/IEC 27001 certificate for its information security management. The certification is awarded to companies that demonstrate a high level of commitment to protecting their information assets and implementing effective security controls.

“This certification solidifies our commitment to offering a high level of security and confidentiality for our customers,” said Jussi Havu, CEO of Glue.

The certification covers all Glue Collaboration’s operations, including Glue virtual collaboration platform, services and the supporting business processes. In line with ISO/IEC 27001 standard, Glue Collaboration has implemented a comprehensive set of controls and standard requirements for our information security management system.

“Our team understands the importance of managing data security, especially when it comes to protecting client data and communications,” said Janne Hietanen, CTO and Information Security Lead at Glue.

“While we have always operated with the highest security standards, this certification demonstrates that we have invested in the people, processes and technology to protect our data.”

Established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ISO/IEC 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS) and their requirements. It provides a systematic approach to managing the security of assets such as company and customer information, including financial data, intellectual property, and personal data.
